Roncalli Catholic Schools has announced a new event, Bids & Bites, scheduled for April 25, 2026. The event will take place at Roncalli High School in Manitowoc and is intended for adults aged 21 and over. It aims to bring together families, alumni, local businesses, and community members to support Catholic education in the Lakeshore area.

Bids & Bites combines aspects of two previous events—the International Food Fair and the Pierside Auction—into one evening. Activities will include a Mass with Fr. Nicholas Stellpflug from 4 to 5 p.m., live music by local performers from 5 to 7 p.m., silent, oral, and online auctions featuring various items and experiences, as well as food and beverages provided by community partners. Raffles and other activities are also planned throughout the night.

Admission is free for those attending in person. Food and drinks can be purchased using punch cards available at the venue. Parking will be available on site, with shuttle service offered by Brandt Buses, Inc. between 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Candice Giesen, Director of Advancement at Roncalli Catholic Schools, with Jason Prigge serving as emcee and Greg Schramm as auctioneer.

“Bids & Bites reflects the spirit of Roncalli Catholic Schools — one of community, joy, and shared purpose,” said Giesen. “We are thrilled to offer an event that celebrates everything Roncalli while supporting the mission of Catholic education throughout the Lakeshore.”

Funds raised during Bids & Bites will go toward programs across Roncalli Catholic Schools to support faith-based learning opportunities for students from preschool through high school.
