Representative Lindee Brill, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Wisconsin’s 27th House district, has recently posted several statements on her official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing constituents and expressing views on media trust.

On November 3, 2025, Brill addressed families in her state, stating: “To the children and families of Wisconsin: We are fighting for you.”

The following day, November 4, she posted a brief message: “Thy will be done.”

On November 5, Brill made comments about media credibility. She wrote: “Yep. I said it. The AP is not a valid source of information. And I’d say it again.

As Wisconsinites and Americans, it’s time we stop turning to the media and news every day to tell us ‘the truth of what’s going on.’ We should all be questioning what we’re seeing, and what”

Brill succeeded Amy Binsfeld as the representative for Wisconsin’s 27th House district after winning the election in 2025. Her recent remarks reflect an ongoing skepticism toward traditional news outlets among some public officials.
