The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce recently concluded its second annual Shop & Spin for Holiday Wins event, an initiative aimed at promoting local shopping during the winter and holiday season. The campaign encouraged community members to support businesses that are part of the Plymouth Chamber by bringing in five receipts from member establishments, dated between November 14 and December 19, to the Chamber office. This allowed participants a chance to spin the Spin to Win Wheel.

More than 100 individuals participated in the promotion, with some returning multiple times. The event featured over 50 prizes donated by local businesses, including gift cards and jewelry. Additional items such as Cheese Capital Festival merchandise and sugar cookies from Hartman’s Bakery were provided by the Chamber.

Several local businesses contributed prizes for the event, including Allechant Boutique, Christel’s Pet Supplies & More, Cow Country, Devour, Fantastic Sams, Import Repair Center, Ivy & Oak, Meyer Motors, Moraine Gardens, Over Easy Flipping, St. Vincent de Paul of Plymouth, and Sweet Basil.

Each spin also granted participants an entry into a raffle for further prizes. Raffle winners included Linda J., who received $50 in Plymouth Chamber Dollars; Carla H. and Teresa L., who each won a gift basket from Ivy & Oak; and Karey S. and Sharon O., who each won a gift basket from Fantastic Sams.

In a statement from the Chamber: “We sincerely thank everyone who participated! Your support keeps our community’s amazing businesses thriving and strengthens the local economy. We can’t wait to bring even more fun promotions in the future—together, we’re making our community stronger than ever!”
