The awards recognize nurses who exemplify passion, quality, and excellence in nursing while upholding HSHS’s core values: Respect, Care, Competence, and Joy. These recipients are nominated by their peers and selected by nursing leadership along with the hospitals’ Professional Nurse Practice Council.

The honored nurses include Tracy Sauve from HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, who works in Interventional Radiology. Sauve expressed her commitment to treating patients and their families with respect and compassion.

Lindsey Unright from HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay was recognized for her work in the Emergency Department. Unright highlighted her ongoing growth in skills to provide top-level care and support within a faith-based organization.

Kayla Korb from HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan was acknowledged for her dedication to making a positive impact through her work in the Emergency Department. Korb aspires to inspire others to join the nursing profession.

These awards are typically announced during spring or summer of the current year for achievements made in the previous year. At HSHS, nursing is considered more than just a career; it is seen as a calling that combines heart, skill, and purpose to deliver person-centered care.
