The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is set to host “Bourbon & Bites II” on March 20, 2025. The event will take place at Tapped on the Lakeshore in Two Rivers and will feature a range of activities designed to support the MSO. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive bourbon tasting by Round River Distilling, accompanied by live music from 10 Strings Acoustic, comprised of Jim Van Lanen and Pete Honzik.

A highlight of the evening includes a chance to win a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle’s 20-Year Family Reserve bourbon, valued at $4,000. This rare bottle has been donated by John Durbrow. Guests will also receive souvenir-tasting glasses and a handcrafted signature cocktail as part of their experience.

Tickets for the event are priced at $100 per person, with VIP tickets available for $150. VIP ticket holders will receive exclusive signed bottles of Round River Bourbon & Rye. Peggy Pitz, MSO Executive Director, stated, “Raise your glass and join us for an extraordinary evening celebrating bourbon, food, and the Symphony with Round River Distilling of Viroqua.”

The evening will include a special presentation and Q&A session with Dan Johnson, Whiskey Master and owner of Round River Distilling. Additionally, attendees can participate in an auction featuring items such as Bourbon Barrels and Bourbon Brunch for ten people.

Registration for “Bourbon & Bites II” can be completed online at manitowocsymphony.org/bb2 or by contacting Peggy Pitz directly at 920-684-3492. Raffle tickets are also available through various outlets including Courthouse Pub and Tapped on the Lakeshore.

“Bourbon & Bites II” is sponsored by Seehafer Broadcasting.

The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra is one of the smallest cities’ orchestras in Wisconsin. It aims to provide high-quality orchestral music experiences to its patrons and musicians. The MSO is currently celebrating its 74th season.
