Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary donates over $15,000 to local charities this year

In the past year, Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary has given more than $15,000 to charitable organizations in the local area. Over the last 35 years, the group’s total contributions to the Manitowoc community have reached $335,000.

The organization raises funds through various projects led by its members. These funds are distributed to groups such as the Boys and Girls Club, Kan Cool for School, Lakeshore Foster Families and Friends. This year, more than $2,000 in gifts was provided to Hope House.

Peggy Kadow, current Rotary President, stated: “We are committed to providing support for children education, safety and for community needs/improvements. That’s what we work for and where our profits go.”
