Time Out Sports Bar & Grill in Manitowoc is partnering with the Manitowoc County Historical Society to support local history education through an event called “Give Back Monday” on July 7. The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. at the sports bar located at 1027 N Rapids Rd.

Amy Meyer, Executive Director of the Manitowoc County Historical Society, expressed gratitude for the support from local restaurants. “We are so appreciative of our local restaurants and their efforts to help us raise funds to support our mission to preserve and share our local history,” she said.

Proceeds from this event will aid the historical society’s operations and educational programs. The Manitowoc County Historical Society operates as a private non-profit organization, relying on membership dues, tours, fundraising events, and donations for funding.

The Manitowoc County Historical Society features Pinecrest Historical Village, a living history museum situated on a 60-acre site in Eastern Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine countryside. This museum includes a Welcome Center with exhibits and research services, along with over 25 historic buildings that reflect the early settler period in Manitowoc County.

Pinecrest Historical Village originated in 1970 following a land donation from Hugo and Eleanor Vetting. It has since evolved into a representation of a small Wisconsin community from the early 1900s, showcasing various architectural styles and original or accurately reproduced furnishings.
