Manitowoc Public Library has announced a series of youth programs and events for December 2025. The library’s “Best Gift Ever” book drive is underway through December 5, inviting community members to donate new, unwrapped children’s books. Donations can be dropped off near the First Floor Service Desk, and all contributions will be distributed to local organizations: Incourage, Lakeshore Foster Family and Friends, and the Salvation Army of Manitowoc County. Monetary donations are also accepted until November 24.
The Enchanted Evergleams exhibit continues at the library through January 4, 2026. This display features over 100 aluminum Evergleam trees in various styles and colors as part of Downtown Manitowoc’s “Evergleams on Eighth.” A notable addition this year is a custom-made 14-foot tree donated by sisters from Kansas.
