Froedtert Pharmacy has opened a new specialty infusion suite at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The facility, located at 2300 Western Ave., began operations on November 17 and will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This expansion is part of the ongoing effort by Froedtert ThedaCare to broaden healthcare services in local communities.
The new suite provides outpatient infusion therapy for both short- and long-term treatments. Services include administration of specialty medications such as IV-IG and iron infusions for patients with specific diagnoses. Cancer infusion services remain unaffected by this addition.
“We have seen significant growth in demand for specialty infusion services and are quickly adjusting to meet patient needs,” said Brian Graf, PT, DPT, FACHE, vice president of Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital. “This expansion means more patients in the community can get the care they need closer to home. It’s an important step toward making infusion services more convenient and accessible for those we are privileged to serve.”
The opening of the suite aims to reduce travel times for patients who previously had to seek treatment farther from home or receive infusions at home. Patients now have access to private rooms equipped with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and refreshments.
“Designed around the needs of patients, the suite offers an on-site lab for quick and dependable test results, helping ensure seamless coordination of care,” said Graf. “Each private infusion room includes comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and refreshments to help patients relax during their visit. From the moment patients walk in, they’re met with a welcoming environment focused on comfort, connection and compassionate care.”
Specially trained nurses provide personalized care throughout treatment sessions and assist with managing supplies and equipment such as infusion pumps. Flexible scheduling is available based on individual needs.
