FOIA Request to Village of Oostburg Regarding Same Day Registered Voters on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at EC Wisconsin News have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Village of Oostburg. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks access to public records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq.
Specifically, we have requested a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. This information is critical for us as we continue our work in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
