A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Village of Adell, Wisconsin, regarding new voter registrations on November 7, 2024. The request specifically asked for a list of voters who registered on Election Day, November 5, 2024.
The request was made by EC Wisconsin News, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs. As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability in public institutions, we believe that access to such records is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities.
We requested these records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., and have expressed a preference for receiving them in an electronic format for ease of dissemination and analysis.
