Felician Village in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, is set to host a free public workshop titled “Our Aging Brain” on June 10 at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place at Felician Village’s premises located at 1635 S. 21st Street. The workshop aims to address common concerns regarding brain health and provide guidance on what actions can be taken if thinking and memory issues arise.

Sheri Fairm, MSW, CMD CP from Dementia Care Solutions, LLC, will lead the session. She will assist attendees in understanding the typical signs of aging in relation to brain health and when it might be necessary to seek further advice or intervention.

While registration for the workshop is appreciated, it is not mandatory. Interested individuals can register by calling 920-684-7171 ext. 329 or emailing fvmarketing@felicianvillage.org.

In addition to the workshop, Felician Village’s Village Café will offer a special lunch on June 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring a choice of burger or brat with baked beans, chips, and a cookie for $8.00. Proceeds from this lunch will support the Felician Village Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team. The café welcomes public patrons and is situated in the Village Square at the same address.

Felician Village has been serving seniors for over 135 years as a non-profit continuing care campus offering various services including rehabilitation, independent living, assisted living, and long-term care. It operates as a faith-based organization open to people of all faiths.
