Senator Eric Wimberger, who represents Wisconsin’s 2nd Senate district, has recently highlighted several local accomplishments and events through his official Twitter account. Wimberger, a Republican elected in 2025 to succeed Robert Cowles, used his platform to commend community members and organizations between March 9 and March 11, 2026.

On March 9, Wimberger posted about participating in a Boy Scouts event: “Enjoyed celebrating the accomplishments of a local Eagle Scout, Dean Seaborn, during the annual Boy Scouts Report to the State last week. Organizations like the Boy Scouts are great ways for local students to become leaders in their communities. Congratulations on your hard https://t.co/XE00WjJCIY”.

The following day, he commented on Wisconsin’s dairy industry after attending an international cheese competition: “It was great to talk with Randy from WAG Cheese in Kaukauna at the World Championship Cheese Contest last week. WAG Cheese plays an important part in the processing of dairy by aging and grading different kinds of cheeses. I was proud to expand the Dairy Processor Grant Program https://t.co/RUIX5qzk8M”.

On March 11, Wimberger congratulated a collegiate women’s basketball team: “Congrats to @gbphoenixwbb for punching their ticket to March Madness! Go Phoenix! https://t.co/l09katxxkW”.
