Usherpa has announced that its CEO and co-founder, Chris Harrington, has been recognized by Progress in Lending as one of the most powerful women reshaping FinTech. Tony Garritano, Chairman and founder of Progress in Lending, praised Harrington’s contributions to the industry.

“In today’s hyper-connected world, organizations must constantly evolve to offer quick, convenient, and reliable service,” Garritano said. “The financial services industry is no exception. The rise of Innovative FinTech is a perfect example of how this new reality is reshaping the way we think. And women are playing a pivotal role.”

Harrington brings over 30 years of experience in high-tech real estate and mortgage relationship management SaaS solutions. She leads Usherpa, which provides technology and marketing solutions for real estate and mortgage professionals. These services have supported hundreds of thousands of borrowers in achieving homeownership.

Beginning her career in 1991 within the mortgage industry, Harrington later became Vice President of Marketing for CTX Mortgage in 2004. She identified challenges faced by loan officers in maintaining relationships with clients and business partners, leading to the creation of Media Center CRM to address these issues.

“Winning this award is a great honor,” Harrington said. “My Usherpa family has put our hearts into serving this industry, and it repays us every day through the fantastic clients we are so proud to serve.”

Harrington’s accolades include being named a Housing Wire Tech Trendsetter 2023 and receiving multiple awards such as Most Powerful Women in Fintech from 2022-2024.

Founded originally as Media Center LLC in 1995 before becoming Usherpa in 2008, the company offers marketing and CRM platforms aimed at enhancing client relationships through automated engagement tools.
